Valkyrie

The Valkyrie thruster is based on a NASA-licensed "H71M" Hall effect thruster, which provides best-in-class performance in thrust, efficiency, and total impulse, and is specifically designed for operations from LEO to Cis-Lunar environments. Additionally, the power processing unit (PPU) is also based on a NASA-licensed design, and the propellant management unit is derived from Phase Four's flight heritage xenon flow controller. Developed in partnership with Redwire, the Valkyrie thruster is anticipated to go into full-rate production in 2025.
